A closed edition of 55 front-row seats have been made for the 2024 Amsterdam Fashion Week fashion show of Tess van Zalinge, Dutch haute couture designer. Each bench is unique and crafted entirely from steel industry cut-offs and leftover production materials. The design reflects the individuality of the show, with each seat featuring multiple steel feet that symbolize the variety of the models. The seats are welded by a female welder in The Netherlands.

High-end stylists and fashion editors took place on the front row seats, among them were Miluska Van ’t Lam, Mariette Hoitink and Mick Nieuwenhuis. The seats starred at RTL Boulevard and hosted events and locations such as H’art Museum, NockNock art fair and Xbank concept store. Tess van Zalinge owns one of the 55 benches, others have been sold to art lovers in Germany and The Netherlands. Which one of the 40 remaining artworks will you bring to your space?
